- At noon Indigenous Brilliance with host Lyle Toledo Yazzie brings you both traditional and contemporary native music.
- At 2 pm we will air The Main Stream from Native Voice One. Host Brett Maybee (Seneca) curates a program that explores the best recorded music of yesterday and today. Brett draws upon his love of all music to create the very best listening experience.
- John McNerney's Early Daze is back playing classic Rock and Roll from the 60s through the 80s at 3 pm Mondays.
- Today at 5:00 pm Marty Tippens brings you his weekly Music of the Space Age and Beyond. Now on the air for two hours with an encore at midnight Saturdays.
- George Koinis hosts The Jazz Groove now from 7 pm until 9 pm. Enjoy mainstream, swing, Latin, fusion, blues and more.
- Then at 9 pm, Social Medicine: Restoring Public Health by Changing Society: We are told that our personal health is our individual responsibility based on our own choices. Yet, the biological truth is that human health is dependent upon the health of nature’s ecosystems and our social structures. Decisions that negatively affect these larger systems and eventually affect us are made without our consent as citizens and, often, without our knowledge. Dr. Rupa Marya, Associate Professor of Medicine at UC San Francisco, and Faculty Director of the Do No Harm Coalition, says "social medicine" means dismantling harmful social structures that directly lead to poor health outcomes, and building new structures that promote health and healing. - At 3 pm, another all new, locally produced hour of great music as DJ Linda KUPR after seven years in college radio at WRTC 89.3FM Hartford, Connecticut and a stint with Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP). Hartford native. She’ll be playing country, folk, and other genre-defying tunes to enjoy on a Tuesday afternoon.
- At 4 pm, the popular Pearls with host Sarah Lawndart moves to this new time slot. Eclectic doesn't begin to describe Sarah's taste in poetry, music and more. Good stuff.
- At 5 pm, long-time favorite Let's Get Creative airs. Larry Goodell starts the hour with some featured poetry, followed by music and interviews from Jerry DiTata.
- At 6 pm in a new time slot, we air a syndicated show out of Colorado: The Beth Williams Indie Americana Songwriter Show. This is a one-hour weekly program showcasing Colorado and Texas songwriters, along with songwriters from around the world. Beth is an Academy of Country Music Top 10 Nominee for Best New Female Vocalist of the Year whose songs have charted in Billboard, Cash Box and various European charts through the years.
- At 7 pm, Dr. Slide brings his hit show Slide Factor live to Tuesday nights. Enjoy American Slide Music at its best with our Dobro and Steel Guitar master for over 50 years.
- At 9pm enjoy an hour of Global Village: Today is Mariachi Day and Global Village celebrates with music from Sones de Mexico, Mariachi Los Camperos and Yuly Tovar. We also continue the January Best of 2024 Feature with music from Grammy nominees Chucho Valdes and Kiki Valera, and 2024 releases from Eskorzo, Africa Negra, the Super Disco Pirata compilation, and Gao Hong with Ignacio Lusardi Monteverde.

- Noon brings Paul Ingles' Music Archive - The Emergence of Joni Mitchell: The first hour of a two-hour exploration of the seminal work of heralded songwriter Joni Mitchell. Over 50 Mitchell songs are featured in the two-hours. Special guests include music writers Ann Powers, Anthony DeCurtis, Paul Zollo, Lydia Hutchinson and Holly George-Warren. Also featured are musicians Shawn Colvin, Lucy Kaplansky and others.
- At 1 pm enjoy Sounds from the Mother Road from Public Radio Exchange. This week it's all about Critters in song, featuring Barnyard Boogie, Cow Cow Boogie, Rattle Snakin' Daddy, Fishin' Blues, Hound Dog, Doghouse Boogie and more by artists, Vassar Clements, Robert Earl Keen Jr., Slaid Cleaves, Toni Price, Asleep at the Wheel, Hot Club of Cowtown, and more. Sounds from the Mother Road is a weekly exploration of the last 70 years of American Roots Music, featuring western swing, country, rockabilly, cowboy tunes and the artists who continue those traditions today.
- At 2 pm DJ Sal Treppiedi hosts Sounds from the Superhighway for three hours.

- At 1 pm enjoy 10,000 Good Songs - Music Documentarian Paul Ingles shares some of the best from his multi-genre collection of tunes. Music you won't hear on commercial radio.
- At 3pm join Spinning Kenny G and the Mystery Hour.
- Dr. David Hoekenga's Harmonies from the Sandias airs at 6 pm, tonight's feature TBA.

- At noon, Tim Trujillo leads off at noon with Straight No Chaser, now for two hours with an encore at 7 am Sundays. Check out Tim's new sidekick Richard Warren on our Talent Page and on the air. He knows a lot about the music he selects.
- At 2 pm welcome to Indigenous in Music with Larry K. On today's show we welcome from Vancouver, Canada. Edzi'u. Singer, songwriter, and sound artist. She has new music out and has just released her new EP called “Tunnel Vision.” Brand new Indigenous pop coming our way.
- Peace Talks Radio now airs at 3 pm Fridays, a series on peacemaking and nonviolent conflict resolution. Today's show is Seeking Peace on Earth: A Peace Talks Radio Special (2015) - Compelling and timeless moments drawn from just one of the many seasons of programs in the Peace Talks Radio series on peacemaking and non-violent conflict resolution. Included are conversations about an effort to "cure violence" like an infectious disease, improving the relationship between police and citizens, understanding and coping with loneliness, an indigenous people's history of the United States, and more.
- At 4 pm enjoy KUPR's Happy Hour. Today's host is Kelly Esparsen with Club 99.
- At 7 pm we air an encore of Wednesday's hit show Hindsight with host Johnny Lawndart.
- At 9 pm - The Playlist with host Brandon "Brando" McDaniel ends our day with three hours of eclectic music. Brando has recently been making guest appearances as the host of the local music segment of Let’s Get Creative on KUPR and we are excited to make a space for his eclectic taste in music
- At 7 am we kick off Saturday morning with Electric Bosque. DJ Sasquatch returns to the radio at KUPR, after a decade on the college radio station KCPR in San Luis Obispo, California, where he hosted a range of shows. He's excited to be back on the airwaves, sharing the music that tickles his ears in "Electric Bosque," a two-hour-long wander through electronic music new and old.
- Saturday morning at 9 am join us for a three-hour KUPR unique venture into the world of music. Patrick Vanderwyden hosts Hidden Gems of the 21st Century - Patrick harvests rain water for the station and is a member of the managing council. On Saturday mornings he introduces you to music he enjoys, but is missing from the playlists of most radio stations.
- Join us at 11 for Whiskey in the Jar, old time fiddle and traditional Irish music with host Marc Robert. Marc has been a fixture on the Placitas music scene for years, playing banjo, guitar and acoustic bass. He’s part of the Virginia Creepers, a local old time band, and also plays with his son Michel as Littlefoot (also old time) and with fiddler Eileen Sullivan as Far From Home (traditional Irish music).
- At noon Bill Honker will bring you Home Again. Bill is a singer and songwriter who played bass, sang and contributed songs to the Alan Munde Gazette, a nationally known bluegrass band.
- At 1 pm host Jerry D brings us Home Country with Slim Randles.
- Next up at 2 pm is Saturday Afternoon Freeform with Jerry D featuring Americana, Bluegrass, and Jambands, just to name a few.
- Bobbi Bell's OutWest Hour comes on at 4 PM- music, poetry, prose, Western, Western Swing, Cowboy Country and more.
- At 5 pm is an exotica jazz show - The Enchanted Tiki Hut with hosts Kitty and Mr. C. This show is another unique KUPR offering!
- At 7 pm we are excited to bring you another unique, locally produced show - The Lounge with host Nick Upton. Nick joined KUPR after a 45-year career in radio.
- Then at 8 pm, enjoy an encore of Music of the Space Age hosted by Marty Tippens (the Martian), a great show airing live on Mondays.
- Hours 4 and 5 of The Main Stream run from 8 to 10 pm.
- Sunday Morning with Ken Grimes and Lynn Kaskela begins at 9am for a Morning Blend of mostly mellow music to begin your Sunday.
- Ken is followed by Mandolin Magic with host George Koinis at 11, one hour of music featuring some of the world's finest mandolinists playing solo, in duets, with ensembles, and with orchestras.
- Katie Stone's award-winning show The Children's Hour - At the Bottom of the Sea: This time on The Children’s Hour, the Kids Crew get aboard the JOIDES Resolution while the ship is at sea off the coast of Portugal. We meet Amy Mayer, the Onboard Outreach Officer for the JOIDES Expedition 397, and research fellow Saray Sanchez. We learn how the JOIDES brings up core samples from the ocean floor, that they then slice, x-ray, and study. Some of the soils they are bringing to the surface are over 300 million years old. Scientists aboard the JOIDES stay for a short rotation, and collect as much data as possible. The ship is drilling for core samples 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when they are at the drilling site. Mixed with great music celebrating the sea, get to the bottom of the ocean with us, this time on The Children’s Hour.
- From 1-3 pm. DJ Ken Ward is on the air with “Tombstone Every Mile” for vintage honky-tonk and bluegrass, truckin’ songs, western swing and cowboy classics, gospel quartets, and the occasional old-time string band tune.
- At 3 pm we air a four hour KUPR exclusive: Women's Voices - Hour 1 is The Voice with Pam D, featuring a different theme each show. At 4 PM is another hour of Beyond Words with Blaze Defiance, followed at 5:00 pm by singer/songwriter Anna Rudolph and Chasing the Muse. Then, at 6 pm, Women in Jazz joins the Women's Voices lineup, hosted by George Koinis.
- At 7 pm we hope you are enjoying another locally produced show, Stage & Screen. Stage & Screen is all about celebrating musicals with innovative weekly themes., with host Keith Allen West. Keith comes to Placitas via New Orleans with a promise to infuse his love of screen and stage into KUPR’s weekly cocktail. Keith is a busy actor with loads of energy, a quick-wit, and comedic timing ideal for not only broadcast, but a lively program of movie themes, comedy, and show tunes. - At 8 pm enjoy Old Time Radio Theater with host Ken Jones. Tonight you’ll again be hearing Errol Flynn starring in: British Agent (1937) costarring Frances Farmer and Perfect Specimen (1939) costarring Joan Blondell. The following week we’ll be featuring the extraordinary actress Helen Hayes.
- At 10 pm to midnight we run an encore of Thursday's 10,000 Good Songs from music Documentarian Paul Ingles with a weekly mix of music from his multi-genre personal collection - mostly stuff you only get from public radio.
