Tuesday, March 10, 6pm: Sandoval County Planning & Zoning will be hearing 1) The application for a Special Use designation for 14 acres along Tecolote Road, allowing the owner to continue to operate heavy equipment and move materials at that location. 2) The appeal of the commissions ruling regarding cluster housing in Placitas. You have the right to be heard and submit written comments. 

Friday, March 13, 7 - 8:30pm:   Globalquerque, The Children's Hour and Southwest Roots presents a fundraiser for the Children's Hour featuring New Mexico's own Robert  Mirabal and Melisande. March 7  -   April 8:   Placitas Community Library presents Art of the Word, an art exhibit. Artists have merged text with visual imagery, whether to convey a message, evoke emotion or  use letters themselves as graphic elements in their composition.
