How to Submit Your Music to KUPR
KUPR is a low-power, community radio station serving the communities of Placitas, Bernalillo, Algodones, Enchanted Hills, Rivers Edge and the Pueblos of Santa Ana, San Felipe and Zia. We stream to the internet worldwide. Since we are funded by our listeners rather than advertising, we have had the freedom to develop a very diverse format, covering most genres including Spanish and Native American music, Americana, Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, even classical. We welcome all music submissions and part of our mission has been to put the voices and sounds of New Mexico artists on the air by playing songs by independent artists and doing interviews. We are an all volunteer station though, so you increase your chances of getting air time by following instructions. Here is how to submit your music to KUPR for consideration.
Prepare your submission package containing the CD or record (the finished product with artwork is preferred; please do not submit a pre-mastered or demo version of your songs) PLUS the One Sheet (designed to outline what you’re sending and why it should be listened to). Limit it to one sheet and include this information:

- A song list if not included in your packaging - and if you are a New Mexico musician indicate LOCAL.
- Indication of any songs the FCC won’t like (such as those with obscene language)
- “Go to” tracks (3 of your strongest)
- A short bio with your pitch and information on how to reach you
- Website/Facebook or other promotional content we can reference
- A statement that you own the rights to publish this material and your signature
Then unwrap the CD and fold the One Sheet inside the CD case, prepare your package and mail to our Music Director:
