If you can't make it to the Temple Bar in Dublin for some traditional St. Patrick's Day celebrating, come down the lane to O'Belknap's at the Placitas Winery for Irish traditional music by Tri with Louis Scuderi (bouzouki, whistle and vocals), Dain Forsythe (bodhran, flute and vocals) and Eileen Sullivan (fiddle). The winery will be dishing out corned beef Irish stew, vegetarian potato leek soup and other St. Patty's Day specialties for purchase. This is a family friendly event.

This is a fundraiser for KUPR - your community radio station
Sunday, March 16, Doors open at 3 pm, music begins at 4.

Tickets are $15 - available at the door or on-line here

Louis Scuderi has been playing Irish traditional music since the age of 11 and has been a regular session player and member of several bands. He specializes as a backing player on Bouzouki and guitar in the Albuquerque Irish Traditional Music community.

Dain Forsythe has performed and taught bodhran through the US. He also teaches bodhran and offers workshops. His study of Irish flute and whistle has cultivated a keen sensitivity to the rhythmic subtleties of Irish traditional melodies.

Eileen Sullivan plays Irish traditional music with the gentle lilting style reminiscent of some of the old Country Clare fiddlers and the skill of someone who is on tune with the background and techniques of the music. She has been playing traditional Irish fiddle for more than a decade.
