KUPR is very grateful to everyone who contributed to our Transmitter Fund Drive. Our goal was to raise $7000, and you helped us meet and exceed it! Thanks to the generosity of KUPR local community, we have already ordered our new FM transmitter – the most vital piece of equipment for our radio station -- which will ensure that KUPR continues our presence on the airwaves for several more years.
People have asked “Can I still donate?” and the answer is a very definite YES. Your contribution of any amount will help us replace other aging equipment and have an equipment replacement “rainy day fund.” We maxed out the matching funds but donors of $100 or more will still receive a collector’s item - a framed print of Dana Patterson Roth’s iconic bus.
