- At noon Indigenous Brillance with host Lyle Toledo Yazzie brings you both traditional and contemporary native music.
- Voices from the Circle airs at 2pm for an hour, followed by John McNerney who will spin some classic Rock and Roll until 5pm..
- Today at 5:00 pm join us for a new interview by Matthew Bronson with Matt DeGregory. From Indiana to film student in LA to dishwasher in Bernalillo to serious restaurateur. Matt shares his views on the health crisis during 2020 and what 2021 may look like. This is not a rerun - it failed to air last week.
- George Koinis hosts The Jazz Groove from 6 pm until 9 pm. George features a mainstream, swing, Latin, fusion, blues and more great jazz.
- Then at 9 pm, Global Village celebrates the birthday of the legendary Herbie Hancock with the world music side of his work, including music from the globe-spanning Imagine Project, guest appearances with African artists Manu Dibango (of “Soul Makossa” fame) and Foday Musa Suso, and covers of his songs from Mongo Santamaria, Pucho & the Latin Soul Brothers, and the Jazz Jamaica All Stars.
- From 10 pm to 11 pm, catch Wandering Minstrels. Host Jared Ingersol's selection of folk, bluegrass and Americana is inspired.
- At 7am, join some new talent for Sal Trappiedi's Sounds from the Superhighway.
- At 9am Alonzo is live in the studio with his selection of Rancheros, Cumias, Boleros, Nortenos, Corridos and more.
- At noon join us for three hours of Blues from the Roadhouse with host Alan Ball. This week enjoy new releases and long time favorites.
- Hang on to your hat and tune in for Magpie's Mix at 3pm with host Rick Hatfield.
- At 5 pm, we will be previewing a new series: The International Americana Music Show: This is the annual "big name" edition of the show when Michael Park fills the playlist with well known artists from around the world, plays some of their classic tracks, and tells some of the fascinating stories behind them. The International Americana Music Show remains the only radio show that plays Americana music made exclusively by non-American artists.
- At 6pm it's The Strange Land with Tom Frouge. Tom's long career in the music industry influences this deep dive into the world of music.
- At 9 pm, host George Koinis presents music from the Eddie Chelist collection. The late Dr. Chelist was an avid collector of a wide range of music covering many genres and artists. You are likely to hear something you have never heard before.

- Paul Ingles' one hour Music Archive Showcase airs at noon. The Music and Philanthropy of Harry Chapin- Hour 1. Part 1 of 2 spotlighting a 2020 documentary called Harry Chapin: When in Doubt, Do Something. Music host Paul Ingles talks about singer/songwriter/storyteller Harry Chapin with Chapin's son Jason, Chapin's good friend and partner in battling world hunger Bill Ayers, and Rick Korn, director of the documentary. The hour also includes nine of Harry's best songs.
- At 1 pm enjoy Sounds from the Mother Road from Public Radio Exchange. This week Sounds from the Mother Road, remembers John Prine, who passed on April 7, 2020 from Covid19. - Today at 5:00 pm join us Bioneers: The Path Home: Restoring Native Lands and Traditional Ecological Knowledge: Although colonial systems of oppression have radically damaged relationships between tribal communities and their traditional lands, a new generation of First Nations activists is working to restore those connections and safeguard Indigenous identity for future generations. - Art of the Song airs at noon Thursday and noon Saturday. This week on Art of the Song we talk with Kemp Harris. This Boston based and beloved artist is one of the voices we need right now. Defying categorization Kemp is a singer and songwriter, a master weaver of American musical styles. He’s an actor, activist, author, and storyteller, and an award-winning educator who has taught young public school students for more than 40 years. A Renaissance man with a wave of new fans discovering his creative perspective, Kemp honed his powerful, intimate performance style in Cambridge Massachusetts coffeehouses. He’s shared stages with artists such as Koko Taylor, Gil Scott-Heron, and Taj Mahal.
- At 3pm join Spinning Kenny G and the Mystery Hour - you never know what to expect.
- At 5pm Let's Get Creative - catch up on some poetry from Larry Goodell followed by host Jerry D with interviews from local performers.
- Dr. David Hoekenga's Harmonies from the Sandias airs at 6pm. Tonight he will focus on Bela Bartok.
- Night at the Opera at 8pm is also hosted by Dr. Hoekenga. Tonight's opera is Moses and Aaron.
- At 9am, tune in for Alonzo Lucero as he highlights Musica Ranchera for an hour on Fridays.
- Strolling Down Memory Lane with hosts Rick Lawrence begins at 1 pm with Tim Trujillo and Straight Up No Chaser leading off at noon.
- Peace Talks Radio airs at 3 pm. Peace Journalism: Can journalists, by being more mindful of the language that they use and the breadth of people that they talk to, have an impact on reducing conflict instead of maybe inflaming conflict with their reporting choices? It's being called "Peace Journalism" and we consider it this time on Peace Talks Radio.
- From 4-7 pm, Get a kick start on the weekend with The Happy Hour. with The Jazz Groove's George Koinis.
- At 7 pm we air we air host Casey Mortenson and Roots of Indie, celebrating live and recorded indie music.a new show. Though Casey has moved away, he will continue to air indie music for us - his fans will be delighted.
- At 9 pm - The Playlist with host Brandon "Brando" McDaniel ends our day with three hours of eclectic music. Brando has recently been making guest appearances as the host of the local music segment of Let’s Get Creative on KUPR and we are now excited to make a space for his eclectic taste in music
- Saturday morning at 8 join us for a three-hour KUPR unique venture into the world of music. Patrick Vanderwyden hosts Hidden Gems of the 21st Century - Patrick is a New Mexico transplant from Florida in 2017 who moved to Placitas in March of 2020. He looks forward to introducing you to music he enjoys, but is missing from the playlists of most radio stations.
- It's followed by Undercurrents at 11, two hours of free form music hosted and produced by Gregg McVicar and provided to KUPR by Native Voice One.
- Host Jerry D brings us Home Country with Slim Randles at 1pm Saturday.

- At 7 pm we are changing pace with a new series: A Night on the Town celebrates the 1920's - Likely the most historic decade in launching the Musical Comedy as an American art form; Showboat; The Gershwins & Cole Porter
- On this week's Old Time Radio Theater show with host Ken Jones (8 pm) we’ll be listening to one of the cleverest and most charming actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood Irene Dunne: first, perhaps her most outstanding performance as Anna Owens in Anna and the King of Siam (1947) costarring Dunne as Anna along with her costar from the 20th Century Fox film Rex Harrison as King Mongkut. Next we’ll hear Dunne in her most endearing and memorable film role as Helen Hudson in Magnificent Obsession (1937) costarring Robert Taylor as Dr. Robert Merrick in the film role which launched him to stardom. Next week we’ll be hearing one of the great a comedy masterpieces from the era Our Man Godfrey (1938) starring Carole Lombard and William Powell.
- 10 pm to midnight stay tuned for Placitas Platter Party with host Ken Aronds. Ken brings you Rockabilly, primitive Rock ‘n Roll and obscure Rhythm & Blues, Surf Instrumentals, and teenage Garage Rock. You won't hear this on commercial radio!
- Sunday Morning with Ken Grimes and Lynn Kaskela begins at 9am for a Morning Blend of mostly mellow music to begin your Sunday.
- Ken is followed by Mandolin Magic with host George Koinis at 11, one hour of music featuring some of the world's finest mandolinists playing solo, in duets, with ensembles, and with orchestras.
- Katie Stone's The Children's Hour airs at noon every Sunday. This time on The Children’s Hour we visit with the inspiring and talented children’s musician, author, motivational speaker and change-maker SaulPaul, a musician with a message. The Kids Crew learn about his triumph over adversity, and challenge him to compose a freestyle rap while on the air with us! Then Kids Crew member Evan Daitz reviews the book A Whale of the Wild by Roseanne Parry.
- Tune in from 1-3 pm for Slide Factor - Enjoy American Slide Music at its best with Dobro and Steel Guitar master for over 50 years, Dr. Slide. The Dr's first show brought this response from a west coast listener: I just heard "the slide factor" and loved the show; host and tune choices! what a great addition to your line-up. And we encore Slide Factor at 4 am Tuesday mornings.
- At 3:00 pm we will air a three hour KUPR exclusive: Women's Voices - Hour 1 is "The Voice" with Pam D, featuring a different theme each show. At 4 PM is a curated hour of some of the great women musicians in our music library, followed at 5pm with an hour by Sarah Lawndart as she graces our airwaves with "Pearls" - music, poetry and more.
- Bob Witter is the host of another great show The Mix, Sunday evenings from 6 - 8 pm. Join Bob for two hours of oldies rock ‘n roll, big band music and doo wop. And, maybe a few surprises here and there.
- Hours 3 and 4 of Undercurrents runs from 8 to 10 pm..
