Le Chat Lunatique has earned fans across the globe from the South by Southwest Festival in Austin to the clubs of England, to the national theater in Novi Sad, Serbia. At home in New Mexico they have won award after award for best band, best jazz act and best song. They use the beacon of Django Reinhardt to navigate through a wide range of genres, blending Western swing, classical, reggae, doowop, and anything else that moves them into strikingly original compositions and audaciously reworked standards alike. Their irreverent humor, their intensity and expert musicianship will deliver a memorable performance for this KUPR fundraiser.
